Designing a better future
Research in the Faculty of Architecture and Planning covers a wide territory from leading architectural practices to cutting-edge planning scholarship. Key themes include design innovation, design and planning for a constantly changing world, and the mobilization of knowledge to build stronger communities.
Dalhousie Architecture Students Association (DASA) concerns itself with all aspects of student life at Dalhousie. Comprised of graduate and undergraduate students, DASA is the student body voice within the Faculty of Architecture, representing students at all regular Faculty meetings. They also host guest lecturers and social events, coordinate participation in community and design-related events, and run a small arts supply store, among other things.
